Tell Congress It's Time To Protect Medicare Patient Access: Address the 2025 Medicare Physician Payment Cut
The bipartisan Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act (H.R. 879) would reverse the 2.83% Medicare payment cut that went into effect January 1st, and also provide additional assistance to mitigate the impact of inflation over the last year.
Unfortunately, Congress has not advanced this legislation. It is important that you contact your representative today and urge them to co-sponsor H.R. 879 and advance it as soon as possible.

Congress passed a continuing resolution in December that funds the federal government through March 14, 2025. The stopgap spending measure included a short-term extension of telehealth flexibilities, including those related to geographic requirements and originating sites, through March 14, 2025.
An earlier version of the funding package had included provisions to extend the telehealth flexibilities for two years and to temporarily reinstate in-home cardiopulmonary rehabilitation flexibilities that ceased at the end of the public health emergency. These telehealth flexibilities had advanced through the House committees of jurisdiction with unanimous bipartisan support.
Legislation is needed for Medicare telehealth billing waivers to continue beyond March 14. It is urgent that Congress act to extend or make permanent these important telehealth flexibilities in advance of the March 14 deadline to ensure virtual access to care continues to be available to patients without interruption.
